Wood Chip

Chopped wood derived from logs, industrial plantation timber or wood waste — raw material for biomass energy and the pulp & paper industry.

Overview

Chopped wood derived from logs, industrial plantation timber or wood waste — raw material for biomass energy and the pulp & paper industry.

The least processed line we carry, and often the cheapest per gigajoule at the plant gate. Chip is graded two ways: fuel grade, where sizing consistency matters for the feed screw, and pulp grade, where species and cleanliness matter more than calorific value. Tell us which you need — they are not interchangeable.

Typical applications

  • Grate and fluidised bed boilers
  • Pulp & paper feedstock
  • Pellet plant raw material
